Kathleen Day-Seiter received her BA from the University of California at Riverside, her Masters of Social Welfare with a specialization in gerontology from the University of California at Berkeley, and her JD from Rutgers University – Newark. Ms. Day-Seiter served as law clerk to the Honorable John E. Selser, Judge of the Superior Court of Passaic County, New Jersey. She worked as a medical social worker for over twenty years advocating for the needs of the elderly and disabled in both California and New Jersey prior to becoming an attorney. In her law practice, she continues to focus on these same issues. Kathleen has volunteered at San Francisco Legal Assistance to the Elderly since 2009.
Kathleen is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Alameda County and Contra Costa County Bar Associations, Trusts and Estates Sections. She founded the Rhinegold Women’s Investment Club in Kehl, Germany, where she lived for six years. She is fluent in German. She is past-president of the Oakland Lacrosse Club, a non-profit organization for youth lacrosse, and is currently on the board of Artemis Rowing, a non-profit rowing club for juniors.
